Description
King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King, Island pink label. The matrix numbers are stamped Side 1 ILPS 9111 A2 and Side 2 ILPS 9111 B3. I am selling this as I have 2 copies of the A2/B3 pressing.
The sleeve is Ex The front and back are clean, as is the inside. The spine is legible see photo 2,3 & 4. The only fault with the cover is the wear to the top of the spine see photo 2. The other 3 corners are sharp. The top & bottom edges of the sleeve are clean & without wear.
Visually the vinyl is Ex+ The record still has it's original shine. Only the lightest of sleeve removal marks. These are not visible in normal light but can be seen under a spotlight. Absolutely no scratches or cosmetic defects. The record is flat.
The labels are clean, see photos 9 & 10. They are in Ex condition.
On playback the sound is EX. I cannot fault it. This does not mean though that Moonchild is absolutely silent. My 200gm reissue that I have only played twice is not totally silent. But this is as good as I have heard Moonchild on vinyl. Their are absolutely no scratches, jumps or repetitive clicks.
