Description
This is a beautiful NM U.S. early pressing from the Monarch pressing plant of "In the Court of the Crimson King" by King Crimson. Let me explain the condition in deeper detail, as just a simple NM or EX or VG+ is not sufficient. There is one really light 1/8" scuff on track 1 of side 1 that is very light and almost unnoticeable. It doesn't penetrate into the grooves at all, and does not affect the audio in any way. There is also a very thin hairline scuff 1/2" long on track 1 of side 2. It does not penetrate the vinyl, it does not affect the audio. Other than that the vinyl is super clean and NM on both sides. In grading the audio, the vinyl is very quiet, the background noise is very low, even on the dead wax between tracks, and both sides play Near Mint all the way through. I am going to rate the outer sleeve as Ex, it has a little bit of loss of color at the bottom and top of the spine, other than that it is very intact, no stains, tears, splits, etc. The inner sleeve is only a Good or Good+, it is intact but it has splits on all three sides, and a little bit of tearing at the top. In terms of the identification, the labels show ST-A-691699-MO and 691700-MO on the two sides, and in the dead wax on side 1 the stampers show "ST-A-691699-C" with "AT" and "LW" with the MR stamp, on side 2 they show "ST-A-691700-C" with "AT" and "LW" and again the MR stamp for the Monarch record pressing plant. I will only ship to the U.S. No reserve just a very reasonable starting bid.
