This barely played UK 1969 1st pressing of King Crimson's incredible debut LP is on the pink Island label: ILPS-9111

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A bright, unfaded pair with a few faint age-related blemishes visible only at an angle but no spindle trails around either completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean & unworn playing surface which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine and display no significant marks or wear in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just a single 1cm light scuff line on side 1 and some harmless wispy paper-tape hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal but no other noticeable marks or wear. Both sides of this very well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This delicate, revealing album is a test for any system but my single careful play-check at volume found the sound to be clean, clear and totally unworn throughout. In fact, apart from a faint repeating tick which lasts for approximately 10 seconds at the beginning of 'I Talk To The Wind' and a touch of low-level vinyl background at the quiet beginning of 'Moonchild', there is little else to fault overall. There are certainly no clicks, pops or any trace of groove/play wear or indeed anything else to spoil the listening pleasure of this amazing album.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean & firm example of this striking cover which bears some light storagewear but no major faults throughout. Both front & rear panels are clean & unfaded and free from any rubbing or ringwear. There is some shelfwear to the corners but the opening edges of the rear opening pocket are undamaged. There is mild shelfwear rubbing to the seams but no splits or stresses to either.
The inside of the gatefold is clean and unworn.
The spine is slightly faded and there are two bends, one of which has taken out the letters 'TI' from the text.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
General light storage/age wear but no major faults.
