King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King ILPS 9111
Very nice copy of this classic lp.
Matrices ILPS 9111 A4 U and B4U
The record is conservatively graded very good. It is flat and very clean and shiny. Under bright light there is one noticeable 3-4cm mark on Moonchild and the title track. It is faint and difficult to see and can't be heard during the title track but it can be heard faintly on Moonchild due to the quiet nature of that track. It doesn't really distract from the music but it is audible if you are listening out for it. Under very bright light here are some much lighter wispy "sleeve marks" but these make no difference to the sound which is excellent throughout except as noted above. Other than the one mark the lp is almost like new.
The labels are in excellent condition. They are the pink rimmed "Palm Tree" variety; indicating a second pressing. They are free from writing, rips, tears or stickers. There are a few of spindle marks indicatint that the lp has been played.
The cover is in excellentcondition. It is very clean and tidy and largely free from the ringwear that this sleeve is usually prone to. There are no major creases or edgewear. There is some light wear to the corners and some wear where the ink has come away to the right on the inner gatefold (see photo). Overall this is an excellent example of this sleeve.
The blue island inner is in very good condition. There are no major defects just the usual rippling/circular lp imprint.
