For auction is a great copy of the first U.K. press of King Crimson’s first album ‘In the Court of the Crimson King’. This is a rare album, particularly in good playable condition Original EJ Day gatefold sleeve is VG - fully intact with no tears or stains. Some wear to spine and corners. Very faint name written on inside right of gatefold.Inner sleeve is excellent.Record visually is a VG, with minor scuffs and hairlines and a couple of visible but unfeelable shallow scratches on each side. Otherwise still much of its original sheen. Sonically it is close to excellent, with only minor issue being occasional quiet crackles in quiet passages and in first half of side 2 track 1. A good deep clean might improve sound quality even more. No clicks, sticks skips or jumps. A very enjoyable listen.Labels are excellent with no marks or writing. Spindles very clean also.Low starting price and no reserve
