This is an original Pink Island Label pressing of King Crimson's second album, In the Wake of Poseidon. It was released in 1970. This is an original United Kingdom pressing including the impossibly rare textured sleeve that was available only on the initial first production of the album. It turns out it was too costly to continue the textured production and later pressings features a smooth textured cover. There is an original price sticker on the front cover of the album, but the glue is ready to let go if the sticker, considering the album is 45 years old. Given the age of this album, finding the vinyl in Near Mint condition as this one is nearly impossible anymore. I'm a collector from a smoke free home an I keep my records stored inside a protective outer sleeve and use only Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs inner sleeves to ensure the ultimate protection.
