King Crimson: In the court of the Crimson king ISLAND 9111 UK
Original Pink Island copy…
cover: original un-laminated E.J. Day. GF cover, clean EX- with corner wear on top and bottom L, light edge wear on bottom …opening edges are straight and sharp, no signs of heavy use .…inside is nice and damage-free with light rubbing on the top edge …spine is square and un-crushed, some of the text is still there but most of it is gone …no rips,tears,splits or any other damages....
record,visual: both sides have numerous hairlines and there are two feelable marks on „I talk to the wind” ..
I didn’t play „Moonchild” – pointless…ALL pressings/copies have background noise on this track - I’m rather sceptical about the existence of „dead silence” Moonchild copies..
„I talk to the wind” has pops and cracks pretty much all the way through the track…the same goes for the quiet parts of the album, the rest plays fine..
Now, this is NOT a spotless and MINT copy and won’t turn into that, so bear in mind when bidding – I’d much rather NOT sell this than sell it and argue about the sound quality of it…
labels: clean with spindle hole marks ….ILPS 9111 A2 and ILPS 9111 B4 matrix numbers..…small penmark on side A, no tears,stamps or any other damages...
Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:
