King Crimson - Islands
(Island ILPS 9175 UK LP 1971)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve which has rear flipbacks. It comes with its original gatefold lyric/ picture inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has "pink rim" Island labels. It has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. The mother stampers are OM 1 & M 1. A genuine UK 1st pressing of this excellent early 1970's UK Prog Rock LP.
Sleeve: Some mild to moderate rubbing wear to the edges. VG condition.
Vinyl: There are some mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and one light hairline mark. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays well overall. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places.
The inner sleeve has unfortunately split down the centre seam. It is virtually in two halves. Apart from that the condition is fine.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50. Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.50. Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
