Very collectible 1st UK pressing of the classic 1970 album “In The Wake Of Poseidon”
Pink “i” labels, textured gatefold sleeve and earliest matrix endings A//1 - B//1
Vinyl looks nice and glossy in natural light but has quite a few hairlines/paper scuffs when viewed under very bright light. No deep or nasty marks. It’s been fully play tested and grades as VG+ overall with some light crackle on run ins and some of the quieter passages. Certainly nothing to evasive and doesn’t come close to overpowering the music. No pops, clicks, sticks or jumps. VG+
The original textured sleeve and labels both have the original owners name written in small biro. The main issue is a split/wear on top third of spine (as shown in photos). The rest of the sleeve is in nice condition with no other major issues. Grades VG overall.
The original plain poly lined inner sleeve is in G condition only as has been heavily embellished with drawing as writing (see photos).
Overall this is a decent playable original 1st UK press. Obviously not perfect but certainly still an enjoyable copy.
