King Crimson Larks Tongues in Aspic UK 1st Vinyl LP VG+/EX VERY Nice Copy!
This is a super-clean great sounding copy of 'Larks Tongues in Aspic', an original 1st UK pressing from 1973 on Island Records (A2/B2 SARK and no 'All songs published by E.G. Music Ltd © 1973). This superb proggy number features the great Robert Fripp of course - recently on tour! This copy is in very nice, clean condition and is clearly a low hours record. Side A is excellent with no marks or scratches other than a smattering of the finest wisps of sleeve-removal depth just visible in good light and some light underlying noise only audible due to the quiet nature of some of the music, this would not normally be audible on many pressings and will be for the most part artefacts of the pressing! Side 2 has a few more minor marks, a couple of faint groove marks (not audible) and some fine hairlines catching the light, there is a bit more noise here, more audible in the quieter passages. Overall grading is EX one side, VG+ on the other. The sleeve is superb, no damage or writing and just minor evidence of handling and storage and one corner slightly flattened, this has a plain white sleeve. Overall EX-(VG+)/EX

Please see the following grading guidelines which I use to grade all media: Items will be described in the following order: Media/Cover (i.e. VG/G+)
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested.
