Description
King Crimson - Starless & Bible Black - UK Vinyl LP 1st pressing ILPS 9275 - A 3U/ B 3U - 'Garc' etched into dead wax on Side A and 'Sean & Ray' on Side B. Textured gatefold sleeve.
The first thing to say about this copy is that it would be graded as 'Excellent plus' if it wasn't wasn't for a hole that has passed through the gatefold sleeve, inner sleeve and the record itself. The pictures show this and as you can see the hole is to the label of the record and the playing surface itself isn't affected at all.
The record plays perfectly and with the exception of feint sleeve wear and a couple of feint scuffs it is in near mint condition. Sound quality is superb. Labels likewise are in beautiful condition save for the aforementioned small hole.
The sleeve itself is in lovely condition, with a solid and legible spine, no tears or creases throughout. Minor ring wear to front and rear, and the hole, but in excellent condition overall. The original lyric inner has writing in biro to the plain side, upper right hand corner but is in excellent condition otherwise. The record is housed in a new protective poly sleeve.
A really lovely copy of a classic album from what many consider to be the classic King Crimson lineup of Robert Fripp, John Wetton and Bill Bruford.
