KING CRIMSON USA Island(UK) ILPS 9316
Up for auction is the first 1975 UK pressing of the ultra-heavy live King Crimson classic, "USA". Recorded shortly before disbandment, this lp is certainly the definitive live document of one of the best lineups Fripp has ever assembled. John Wetton, may he rest in peace, shines like a star on this lp. An essential, LOUD rocker.
DEAD WAX INFO: Side 1 has ILPS-9316 A-1 and 1 O all stamped into the dead wax. Side 2 has ILPS-9316 B-1 and 1 L all stamped into the dead wax. First UK pressing circa 1975.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: VG+ and way better with EXCELLENT fidelity and a very low noise level on Side 1, and Side 2 playing immaculately.
COVER VISUAL: VG+ at best with some laminate lifting, general wear and a bit of scraping rear cover (see pictures, please)
Comes with white UK paper inner (not sure if original), which has been lined with a rice plastic Audiophile plastic inner sleeve. DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER). Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.
