King Crimson - red LP from 1974.
I bought this copy in the first week it was issued. I have only played it a couple of times, its been stored away for over 40 years until my recent last play.
Original UK 1974 first press on the pink rim palm tree Island label.
The stereo imaging is full spectrum and packs an almighty punch with amazing clarity of vocals and instrumentation. One of the peak cuts from the legendary Porky.
This particular album was a fitting end to my fascination with King Crimson and UK prog in general. Even more fitting that the album ends with “Starless” their finest ever track and a high point of the whole prog movement.
Shiny Robor cover with its original UK patented "Made in Great Britain" inner sleeve.

Matrix / Runout side A (variant 1): ILPS 9308 A-3U Séan.
Matrix / Runout side B (variant 1): ILPS 9308 B-6U PECKO
The Séan and PECKO signatures are hand scribed in run outs.
Disc is visually EX. Hardly any signs of play.
It plays with some static mainly noticeable between tracks which it has acquired over the decades of storage. A deep clean will get of it.
Labels are very clean consistent with it been played just a few times.
Cover is VG+. Some light agewear and creases from various house moves and me constantly reordering my albums.
Inner sleeve is fully intact no seam splits.
