A SHORT NOTE REGARDING TO THE RECENT (UNDESERVED !!) NEGATIVES LEFT BY TWO DEADBEATS…ONE OF THEM WON AN ITEM,NEVER PAID FOR IT AND LEFT A RIDICULOUS NEGATIVE FEEDBACK (THIS SHOULDN’T BE ALLOWED !!)..THE OTHER „GENIOUS” –WHO BARELY SPEAKS/UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH AT ALL -  ONLY COLLECTS „MINT” RECORDS (ACCORDING TO HIM !!) , BID ON MY EX+ AND MINT- RECORDS AND UPON RECEIVING THEM STARTED A PAYPAL CLAIM STATING THAT THEY ARE NOT „MINT”..PAYPAL CLOSED THE CASE IN MY FAVOUR (A CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT BOTH OF MY GRADINGS WERE 100% CORRECT !!!) – AS A RETALIATION HE LEFT NEGATIVES …

BUT THE WORST OF THEM ALL IS FROM "TREEHOUSERECORDSRETAIL" WHO UNREALISTICLY EXPECTS/DEMANDS AN EX+ COVER TO BE "NEAR PERFECT" (WHICH IS NOT AND SHOULD NEVER BE !!) AND THEN CLAIMS HE RECEIVED ONLY A PARTIAL REFUND (I RECEIVED A NOTE FROM PAYPAL THAT FULL REFUND HAS BEEN GIVEN,ALSO HAVE A COPY OF IT !!!)...I GUESS THIS EXPLAINS EVERYTHING...

Beautiful original Pink Island copy…

cover: original  un-laminated E.J. Day. GF  cover  superb  clean EX+ condition with one LIGHT crease on the top L corner,also VERY light corner wear on top and bottom left corners…NO major edge or corner wear AT ALL,all four corners are very nice and  clean ,opening edges are straight and razor sharp,NO signs of use AT ALL.…spine is  square and uncrushed with approx. 85% of the lettering  visible and readable,few coloured-in spots on top and bottom…no rips,tears,splits or any other damages...

record,visual:  superb clean EX++ with few of the LIGHTEST sleeve removal  surface lines visible  under strong light( most of them on side B),NONE of these are audible in any way !!!….it still retains its beautiful original sheen and  looks BEAUTIFUL  !!!

record,audio: AS WE ALL KNOW THE ULTIMATE SOUND TEST FOR THIS ALBUM IS „MOONCHILD”…I PLAYED THE ENTIRE RECORD FROM START TO END WITH HIGH VOLUME- THERE’S SOME LIGHT  BACKGROUND NOISE ON THIS TRACK BUT IT’S NOT INTRUSIVE,ALSO 3-4 BIT MORE PRONOUNCED POPS APPROX. HALFWAY THROUGH THE TRACK BUT THAT’S ABOUT IT ..THIS COPY HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR OVER 10 YEARS SO THERE’S PROBABLY DUST BUILD-UP IN THE GROOVES WHICH A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING JOB WOULD PROBABLY GET RID OF,AT LEAST  SOME OF IT …GREAT SOUND QUALITY WITH  CRYSTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT SOUND WITHOUT ANY SINGS OF GROOVEWEAR,WITH  GREAT DELIVERY AND  STEREO IMAGE…NO DISTORTION,NO GROOVEWEAR,NO SKIPS/JUMPS OR STICKING ..

labels:   AS CLEAN AS IT COULD BE  with light   spindle hole marks….ILPS 9111 A2 and ILPS 9111 B4 matrix numbers.. …no tears,stamps or any other damages...

Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

I ALSO USE  PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.

VINYL WILL FIRST BE INSPECTED VISUALLY VERY CAREFULLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT, THEN WILL BE TESTPLAYED SKIPPING THROUGH EACH TRACK ON BOTH SIDES ( INCLUDING RUN-IN,RUN-OUT GROOVES AND THE SPACES BETWEEN TRACKS ) TO CHECK THE OVERALL PLAYBACK  QUALITY.

ALL TESTPLAYING IS DONE ON TOP QUALITY EQUIPMENT- LINN SONDEK WITH ITTOK TONEARM AND BENZ MICRO GLIDER S MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE,McINTOSH TUBE AMPMS AND AMT ESS HEIL SPEAKERS.

IN THE UNLIKELY CASE THAT YOU SHOULD BE UNHAPPY WITH MY GRADING/DESCRIPTION PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK-I’M SURE THAT WE CAN CLEAR OUT EVERY PROBLEM IN A KIND WAY!

If you expect a factory new record with CD sound, dont bid, look for the CD instead. This means that a M- record is not NEW, it is most likely used but taken exceptional care of that it qualifies as M-.
