Please read through all of text! Up next we have a pretty hard to find but on the top of everyones major label gospel soul rares. The Super Funky "First Time We Met" by King James Version on Peacock. I was ironically telling a buddy about this record at a local junk spot when he just so happened to pull it. The cover has side and top seam splits, but is still in tact on the bottom. There is some other normal age wear to the cover but despite the sides, it is in pretty nice shape. The record looks pretty nice and shiny, and would be graded a VG+, except for one mark. PLEASE NOTE THOUGH: on my turntable the record played through this mark on both sides with no problem, no skips at all. I haven't seen a mark like this on any other record I have purchased before. Not sure if it was a pressing defect or whether it was due to negligence. Either way it has a little center to it and then has 3 or 4 little lines that come out of it and covers a little less than an inch on the record. I don't know if it is just a pressing defect or a hairline crack, but either way like previously mentioned it does play through on my turntable. For most people this would be a turn off, and the only reason i am listing this record is because it is a pretty sought after record. This auction is probably a nice chance too pick up a record you may not be able to afford for a more fair price.
