Description

ULTRA RARE King Kurt – Zulu Beat - 1st pressing (#487/1000) orange vinyl hand drawn cover Thin Sliced Records TSR2

This is my copy of the 1st pressing (of 1,000) of King Kurt – Zulu Beat 7” single on opaque orange vinyl bought in 1982 on release.

The Pink paper cover is pasted to a generic white inner sleeve and wraps over the top approx 2" down the back, where it is hand-numbered (#487).

The Front covers were uniquely hand-coloured and often hand-embellished with additions to the printed art and this one was done by singer The Smeg.

I’ve owed this since new and it has been kept inside its thin plastic bag (that it can in) inside a record box so it in mint condition.

I’ve listened to it on a small portable record player and it has no jumps or scratches.
