Up for sale is one of the most beautiful melodies to be recorded by this legendary jazz band. The musical flow of "Sobbin Blues" is not only breathtaking, but it embodies the emotions of longing and despair that could only be achieved by greats like Louis Armstrong, Joe "King" Oliver, Johnny Dodds, etx. Also, Dodd's clarinet solo on "Sweet Lovin Man" is considered by many Dodd's enthusiasts to be one of his best. Overall, it is one of the real treasures of record collecting.

 

Condition: Both sides of the record look V++. No rough grooves!. Sobbin' Blues has a small cluster of moderate scratches as pictured that do not affect play. Both sides play a remarkably clear EE-!.
