The McGlothlin Family with six years together as a singing group and many miles behind them to fill the requests of people has found them in church services, funerals, revivals, and song services across the land. To look backward over the years, the miles and the experience of this labor of love, I am sure, would seem as SOMETIMES A MOUNTAIN & The King James translation of 1611 tell us that SOMETIMES A MOUNTAIN can be a place of joy, peace, and great victory as found in the lives of men such as Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Jacob, and many others. The rewarding experiences attained by these men should encourage each of us to search for an experience that would be so great that we could find a place called Calvary and a Christ that shed His blood for all saying, "Come unto me, and I will give you rest." Then we come to the AAt. of Olives where we hear Christ the Lord with a message from Heaven telling the people of His purpose here in the world. That glorious experience of Peter, James and John on the Mt. of Transfiguration as they heard the voice of God say, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye Him." Making His final journey up Calvary to finish His work He carried that great load of sin to bring salvation and victory to all that believe in Him. The McGlothlin Family as Christians have accepted the valley as a place of patience and courage so they will be able to climb SOMETIMES A MOUNTAIN with faith, hope and charity in their hearts. While they sing the songs of Zion each Sunday to help many people climb this mountain, I am sure each of them need the prayers of God's people to help them mount up and cross the places in their lives that must surely be SOMETIMES A MOUNTAIN. As you tune your radio to WGAT at 9:00 A. M. each Sunday morning you can hear the McGloth- lins from the Scott County Funeral Home Chapel say, "The Lord has brought us safe this far, and surely by His great love we will somewhere top the last mountain and through Christ the Lord see the City of Everlasting Life that is prepared for them that love him."
