Don Jones passed away that morning in Vanderbilt University Hospital and left behind a glorious consolation that when Jesus returns to gather His chosen and precious jewels from this earth that we, who are saved, could be reunited with Him. Of the many things we could write of our buddy, we can say that he loved his Lord, wife, children, parents and friends. Along with the entire personnel of the GOSPEL WAY QUARTET, I count it a wonder- ful privilege to be able to write this tribute to such a grand Christian friend as we had in Don. Too, there are many experiences that we shall always treasure in our hearts, but the most precious is the afternoon that he knelt with Brother Wrightly Sailing and his wife, Freda, to accept the Lord Jesus as his personal Saviour. His testimony is a wonderful challenge to us who remain. So with the Psalmist David we can say, ’’Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints. ” J. W.
