Description

This is the fairly rare Kinks Rock opera Arthur. This copy is even rarer because it is a copy issued in India. (The record's not in Indian I hasten to add!). Whilst it retains its original Pye number NSPL 18317 the record is on Stateside manufactured & distributed by the Gramophone Company Of India Limited (Dum Dum India).

I've tried my best to scan the cover to give an idea of what we have here. It is thick and strong but has flaws. There are marks and it is very slightly torn where the record goes in. The white back is pretty clean but the edges are a bit frayed and there is  thin brown paper going round the edge.

The record I would describe as VG+. There is a scratch on Side 2 but there is only some slight surface noise, mainly between a couple of the tracks.

I'm not trying to pass this off as a perfect item but it would make a great addition to a real fan's collection. I will send Recorded Delivery and of course I will refund if the winner is not delighted.
