Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection due to it being to large and taking up too much room. So please look at my other listings, regrettable they’ve got to go. All my records are stored in protective plastic sleeves, standing upright with no pressure on them. Will be listing many more over the next few months..:(
Listed here is a RARE album by The Kinks titled Face To Face. This is a UK 1st Original Pressing on PYE NSPL 18149. This Stereo pressing is on the very collectable Pink/Black PYE label. I don’t have to tell you how RARE this early 1966 STEREO pressing is, but trust me it is extremely RARE! The 1st pressing of this stereo copy hardly never turns up, try and find another. These copies were only released in very small amounts as export only. For this reason the record company couldn’t be bothered to print a different sleeve, so they just put a STICKER on the rear sleeve over the Cat number to indicate it is a Stereo copy. What makes this ever RARER is that it’s in great condition. Also has early Matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: NSPL 18149 A-1 / NSPL 18149 B-1
Both sides of the album are in EX condition. There is some very minor/light background Noise/Static, it’s only really noticeable between the tracks and on the run-ins and ever then it’s not very noticeable. NO skips, NO Jumps, couple of quiet pops. There are couple of hairline scratches that DON’T effect play. NO Clicks.
The Laminated Flipback sleeve is in EX- condition. Some minor spine wear and edge wear, NO rips, NO Tears, NO Splits, tiny amount of creasing, NO pen names or marks. The STICKER on the rear at some time in its life has been removed, this is unfortunate but you can still see the mark it has left (see pic). They only real fault with sleeve is that the rear is a bit grubby and discoloured in places. Still has got a lovely shine to it.
Inner EX condition, and Labels EX+ condition. Some very minor spindle marks. NO writing or marks.
