This auction is for the rare and desirable 'Something Else' by the Kinks. It's the rarer Mono pressing on the pink Pye record label.
The Catalogue number is NPL 18193.
What sets this one apart is it's condition. This record (guaranteed 100% original) is ABSOLUTELY MINT.
The sleeve is in amazing condition with absolutely no stains, creases, or writing although there is VERY slight wear along the extreme bottom edge from being stored upright, and a slight half inch mark on the back on the upright flipback (see photo) - other than that it's absolutely perfect - so excellent+ is a fair description.
The record has no marks at all - under the strongest light - a beautiful and very thick vinyl old english pressing, still with its original lustre it simply looks unplayed. Having said that, it has been played once, by me to grade it and it plays perfectly....no pops, skips or scratches. Just the stunningly powerful original mono mix. A superb sound from one of the greatest English bands of the sixties.
The Label is also perfect with only light spindle marks seen only under sunlight and is the only suggestion that the record has ever been played.
This is probably the best example of this album that you will ever have the opportunity to buy. I can't see any way that a better copy would exist, as this is simply faultless and couldn't look any better if it was bought brand new yesterday!
Needless to say, this LP will be extremely well packed for shipping with extra care taken to protect the sleeve (especially the corners).
