Firstly, a little bit about my grading, all records offered for sale have been played through fully on a Pro-ject Debut II turntable with a Ortofon OEM 10 cartridge. Before play the records have been cleaned with a record cleaning cloth, but a full deep clean would probably improve the audio quality as the records haven`t been played for over 20 years. The records have been stored boxed in a smoke free environment for 15 years before I took possession of them. I have tried to be as accurate as I can with gradings, but before leaving bad feedback if you are not happy please get in touch, I am first and foremost a collector and understand how hard it is to get an accurate description of condition without holding the record in your own hands !!All the records I am selling over the next few months are on behalf of a friend who is retiring in June and plans to use the money on his round the world trip, if I had my choice (and the cash) many of them would be staying in my collection !!

Sleeve : The front laminate has retained it`s shine over the years, and whilst there are a few creases, notably in the bottom right hand corner, it is in overall excellent condition with no peeling or bubbling. There is evidence of some ringwear although this has not damaged the laminate and is only really noticable when tilted to catch the light. The corners have some signs of wear, but nothing major and can only be expected from a record of this age wich has been enjoyed over the years. The spine remains intact and readable. The rear of the sleeve shows some signs of it`s age but has not been subject to any major yellowing. There is no ringwear visible, but there the initials EDS have been written in red biro in the top right hand corner, this mark is approximately 1cm x 0.5cm

Vinyl: Visually, both side of the record show signs of use, there are a few light marks and the label has some spindle marks on both sides. There is also a quite noticable light scratch over tracks 1 and 2 on side 2. The initials EDS have also been written in red biro on the side 1 label just below the catalogue number, but since the label is red they are not too noticeable. Soundwise, side 1 plays extremely well, with a lovely clear mono sound throughout, there are a couple of areas of very light surface noise, but a good clean would probably reduce them even further, overall a joy to listen to. There is quite a bit of surface noise at the start of side 2, but this soon fades when the track gets louder, although it is noticeable throughout the first track. The scratch mentioned above proves to be of no detriment to the playback, and there are no pops or clicks throughout. Overall a lovely sounding record and if I had my way it would be staying in my collection !!!
