Description
Kip Tyler had a band Kip Tyler and the Flips prior to going solo. I do not know if this is with his band or not. The song never charted but has been covered a few times. It has been labeled as Horror Rockabilly Based on some interpretations, this could be the first "Shock Rock" record predating Alice Cooper by 10 years.
Today Kip is remembered, or not, for his bad boy looks, rebel attitude, and amazing capability to jive. Kip's main instrument was Bongos. Though he never hit it as big as he wished for, we can still help keep Kip’s dreams alive collecting his music!
This record is no very nice shape. Both sides play smooth with no scratches, jumps or skips. It is flat as I attempted to show in the pictures. I am a retired baseball card dealer. I sold off a lot of my cards and I am sorting through my storeroom which holds a variety of items from my more than 30 years of buying collection. I do not know when I acquired this particular record from so I have no background for you. In looking for information on this piece, I found the website discogs which referenced this particular title as being in only 53 collections with 720 collectors looking for it.
HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE A GREAT PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION.
Please look at the pictures provided to make your determination of the condition of this item. If you have questions, please ask. Thank you for looking.
