Description
Kippington Lodge –In my life
A Demo copy of the final and
most scarce of the five singles
made by Kippington Lodge, dating
from 1969. It is on Parlophone,
with the catalogue no. R5776.
The ‘A’ side is a cover of the
Beatles song from ‘Rubber soul’,
while the ‘B’ side, ‘I can see her
face’, represents Nick Lowes’ first
credit as writer. The ‘A’ side plays
‘VG-EX’, with some slight surface
noise, and two or three ‘pops’ at
the end of the song, due to a
small scratch.
Visually, there is a three
inch radial mark, and a small scuff.
There are some general light marks.
The ‘B’ side plays VG, also having
some surface noise. Visually there
are general light marks/scratches.
The labels are clean, with very
Light spindle marks. The ‘A’
side has the indents of the
initials ‘SH’ just below the
spindle hole, these have been
rubbed out. I would grade
the record overall a high ‘VG’,
it being a presentable copy.
