Sibelius - Song Recital
(Decca SXL 2030 UK LP 1958)
This is a UK original ED1 Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve. This has an extremely thin spine. The "spine" text is on the rear sleeve next to the spine. It comes with its original company "FFSS" polythene-lined inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has ED1 Decca labels. These have the "Original Recordings By" text on them. The labels are grooved also. The record has ZAL-3999-2W and ZAL-4000-2W matrix stampers.
Sleeve: There are two tape stains at the corner area of the rear sleeve. Someone has highlighted, in pink, 5 of the track titles on the rear sleeve also. There is some light to very mild ringwear too. VG condition
Vinyl: Looks to have had very few plays only! There are some very light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The polythene inner sleeve has left some light to very mild marks on the vinyl in a few areas. These do not affect playback. There is one very light 3 cm hairline mark too. NEAR EX condition. The labels are in excellent+ condition & show very light spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Near Excellent to Excellent overall & Excellent+ in some places. There is some light or very light crackle in a few quieter places.
