Description
I didn't discover Kiss right away (when I entered the rock music fray in 1976) but a little later say 78-79. When they brought out Dynasty and specifically I was made for loving you - they were derided for 'going Disco' but I think that they were simply moving on and trying different things. With great success as time has told. Double Platinum is a best of their early years and contains some of their early classics. Unmasked is probably my favourite Kiss album with 10 great songs on it. Is that you? is a Glam Rock classic! Finally we have Music from the Elder which marked a halt in their growth in sales but not musically. This is a great album. I recently played my muso pal 'Just a Boy' as the first Kiss song he had ever heard and he was shocked how good and melodic it was. Once we got into the 80's and the more straightforward heavy metal style is where I left them but boy did they do some great stuff leading up to that and much of it is here!
