This is a gorgeous 501 edition of Love Gun from Kiss!! This is when Casablanca was being taken over by Polygram , but they needed to have product on the shelves. These are rare short run editions just to satisfy the fans needs. The jacket and record labels have representation from both record labels. ( catalog numbers from both companies) ok, First, the vinyl looks excellent. There’s no surface marks. Very clean. Second, the labels look fantastic. The reissues did not have the Love Gun photo on the labels. The label shows this pressing is from Plant #53.The label has no spindle marks, tears, bubbles, etc… The labels has a misprint on side A. Under SHOCK ME, they spell Frehley FREELEY. Third, the sleeve is the original clear plastic one issued with most reissues. Fourth, the spine is MINT. The spines on the reissues are notorious for splitting or tearing wasily, so to see one this perfect is an anomaly . Fifth, the jacket looks excellent! Again, these reissues are notorious for easily being dinged or creases, but this has no issues. The back cover has a beautiful 0501 across the bottom right. I want happy buyers so please look at all the pictures. My idea of excellent may not be yours, so look and decide for yourself! If you need more pictures, just ask. It’s never a problem to help you make your decision to buy or not. These 501s are highly sought after so one in this type of condition, to me a collectors edition, will not be here long! There is only 1 other listed and this one looks to be in better shape and is much cheaper. Any questions, please ask before buying.
