Record Grading

Grading is based on Goldmine grading standards

• Mint (MT): The record is in pristine, brand-new condition, never played or handled. The cover should also be perfect.
• Near Mint (NM or MT-): Nearly perfect condition, possibly played a few times but still looks and sounds like new. The cover shows only the slightest signs of wear.
• Very Good Plus (VG+): Excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. Light surface marks may be present, but playback is unaffected. The cover may have slight wear but is well-preserved.
• Very Good (VG): Shows more signs of wear, with noticeable surface marks or scratches. Playable without severe noise, but the cover may have moderate wear, such as ring wear or seam splits.
• Good (GD): Significant wear and surface imperfections that can affect playback. The cover is likely well-worn with possible seam splits.
• Fair (FR): The record is playable but has major defects. The cover is heavily worn and may be missing parts.
• Poor (PR): The record is not playable and is likely damaged. The cover is in very poor condition.
