Kit Ream - All That I Am (Creative Records, 1978)
Alright, this is another classic outsider vanity record - a massively weird, haunting disc by a very strange person.
This is also a ONE OF A KIND COPY of this disc - because of what else it contains - let me explain:
Christopher "Kit" Ream, right after he made this record, unfortunately was involved in a major crime. His psychiatrists were sued by the victim's family, and the family won the case. Included with this record is an October 1983 issue of the "Professional Liability Newsletter" which has an article about the case - a very detailed article about the crime, the victims (no names are mentioned at all), the aftermath, and the lawsuit. ALSO, on the shrinkwrap of the LP is an undated article from a newspaper titled "Psychiatrists pay for patient's action" which does mention names, dates, ages, the crime, etc. etc.
It seems to me that the previous owner of this record was either involved in the case, or following it very closely. I have no basis for this, when it comes down to it, but it seems uncanny.
So, you get these historical items with this disc.

Condition
Cover: EX to maybe EX- (in the shrink and great, just some tiny rubbing on one corner)
Disc: EX- (looks like pressing marks, and 1-2 light scratches - I've played it and it sounds great to me - not a terrific pressing, but that's typical of vanity pressings)
