Klemperer conducts Wagner• Columbia SAX 2347/2348• B/s, Ed1, Stereo
Both records are clean and glossy, with a little background noise in a few places. A few spindle marks and scuffs and evidence of sleeve rub. Labels are excellent.
SAX 2347 is excellent. Unfortunately, there is one scratch on SAX 2348, just towards the end of "Tristan and Isolde" and start of "Goetterdaemmerung" which causes around 30 pops/clicks, which gradually fade- no skips or jumps.
Laminated, flip-back sleeves have minor creasing, edge and ring wear. and little light staining and some scuffs. One split on bottom edge of SAX 2347. Some sticker residue/ staining to back of both sleeves. Couple of small areas of laminate peel off on front of both sleeves. Spines very good.
