Description
Ludwig van Beethoven: Concerto for Violin & Orchestra
Performed by Leonid Kogan with Constantin Silvestri conducting l'Orchestre de la Societe des Concerts du Conservatoire Paris.
german Ed1 Columbia stereo pressing with red , white & golden labels from the „Das Meisterwerk“-series.
Article-No. SMC 91333, equivalent to the famous British SAX 2386.

Condition Cover: Strong EX. Thick laminated sleeve with very light shelf wear only.

Condition Vinyl: VG. Would be close to NM, but unfortunately has a bit of the infamous bubbling defects on both sides.
It's hardly noticeable at first glance, but there are numerous small bulges visible in the surfaces.
I wouldn't offer it for sale if these would make listening impossible: the record plays through and the music can be followed in its entirety
but there's lots of low frequency thuds audible in the background, more or less throughout the complete running time.
It's not the kind of voluminous bulges that renders discs entirely useless, but it definitely has an effect on playback.
Still enjoyable, but not exactly a perfectly preserved copy!

A note about my record-grading:
I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.
My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
