ITEM DESCRIPTION:
On offer here is all 9 LPs – in their "full stereo" Fontana releases – in Franz Konwitschny's magnificent Beethoven cycle with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra (Catalog numbers listed below, Dutch pressings, plum/silver labels – ED1, stereo). To have the entire set in one go, is not easy to realize. In general, the condition of the jackets range from VG to EX, except for one (Symphony No. 2) that rates as VG-. The condition of the LPs range from EX to NM-. A photo of a representative LP is included in the listing.

CONDITION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jackets ranges from VG to EX. They all have varying degrees of shelf wear, discoloration, and general aging. Only does the jacket to the Symphony No. 2 have any significant edge wear. All are free of seam splits and owners' markings.
Thus, all remain remain very solid and attractive, but are not like new. They rate as VG to EX collector's copies. The Symphony No. 2 perhaps rates as VG-.
The condition of the LPs thoughout is EX to NM-. Visually, there are rubs, papers sleeve and other non-sounding marks. In terms of sound, although the surfaces are not perfectly silent, really these are fine copies and playback is superb. However, if you must have flawless copies, then please do not buy this set. Overall, these are excellent collector's copies.

All LPs are provided with a new Nagaoka (or Nagaoka-style) inner sleeve. The images I've provided are of the actual item you are potentially bidding on - these are not stock images or images I've taken from other sites. Bid with confidence!
