Description

Kool G Rap LP Vinyl - 4, 5, 6.
First US Pressing - Cold Chillin Records - E2 57808.
Outer sleeve - (VG+ - EX) - Outer sleeve is nice and clean and still in original shrink wrap. Slight bumps to the corners and one large crease to the top left hand corner at the back of the sleeve.
Inner Sleeve - (VG+ - VG++) - Original inner sleeves and nice and clean with light creasing.
Vinyl - (G - VG(-) - VG) - Visually graded. When I mention 'scratches' or 'hairlines' or 'scuffs' these are light and cannot be felt deeply by the finger unless otherwise stated.
Sides 1 - 2 - (VG (-) - VG) - Vinyl looks ok but is well played and has signs of many light looking surface scratches on both sides. These sides are cleaner than sides 3 - 4 and I feel they should play well with the right stylus / set of decks such as Technics 1210s with the chance of some light distortion / surface noise in places.
Sides 3 - 4 (G - G+ - VG (-) Vinyl has been well played. There are many, many light looking surface scratches and hairlines on both sides. I still feel that the vinyl should play ok with the right stylus / set of decks such as Technics 1210s with the likelihood of some light surface noise / distortion in places. Side 3 has two small 'deep' scratches so the vinyl might skip / click depending on the stylus and its weight.
The item could also be bought solely for the cover and the inners.

Record Collectors Grading system

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
