Kreisler Sarasate The Magic Bow Rabin Aust Capitol SP 8510
On “The Magic Bow”, Michael Rabin with the Hollywood Bowl Symphony conducted by Felix Slatkin performs Kreisler’s “Caprice Viennois”, and “The Old Refrain”, the Kreisler-Paganini “Moto Perpetuo”, Sarasate’s “Gipsy Airs” plus others by Massenet, Saint Saens, and arrangements by Heifetz. An Australian stereo pressing on the Capitol Label (SP 8510), the labels are black with a multi-coloured border and oval Capitol logo. The record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The US cover’s laminate has rubbed, and otherwise is in very good condition.
