Description
Unique and extremely rare PS 7" pressed in Argentina in the 60s.
This was Pagliaro's second single, and it was released on the tiny and ephemeral BGM label. He was an Italian singer-songwriter, heavily influenced by Luigi Tenco.
The A-side features an exotic and unknown cover version of "La Ballata Dell'Eroe" (composed by Fabrizio De Andre), originally included in the cult Italian film "La Cuccagna" (1962) (sung in Italian) [wrongly credited to Luigi Tenco on the label and the back of the sleeve].
This is most likely the unique cover version of any De Andre song recorded in the region ever (and certainly difficult to identify as it was not credited). In adittion, this very special release features an exclusive artwork sleeve, a fabulous image of a scene from the film with the legendary singer Luigi Tenco and Donatella Turri.
