LA MONTE YOUNG / MARIAN ZAZEELA - The Black Record LP - 1969 Edition X Theater Of Eternal Music
The first and best of the very few La Monte Young titles ever issued on vinyl (of course no format has been created to truly recreate the genius).
Rare and expensive gallery edition when issued in 1969.
Issued in an edition of 2800 numbered copies (this one #1616)
vinyl is mint minus, played once
cover is mint minus, only two very slight crease indentations on spine side running horizontally approximately 1/3 of an inch. Some slight glue residue on upper right corner front sleeve incurred during manufacturing as there is no spine split or any repairs done to sleeve post production. Sleeve is shiny and in great shape aside from these two noted very slight blemishes.
A must have for heavy hitter minimalist / drone collectors.
