Description
Los Angeles Salsa Society Orchestra, original, first LP
Directly from Los Angeles and Cuba, a 1988 recording for Rocky Peak, an independent label from Los Angeles. This is the first LP by the group, and a recording that can not be easily found. It has the much look after paste-on graphics in front and back. The LP has been autograph in the back by Didi Scorzo and John Crespo. The cover is in VG+ to VG++ (see picture of cover), the LP is in VG++ to NM condition. Some of the members of the orchestra formed, later on, the group Bongo Logic (Harry and Didi Scorzo, Brett Golin, Michito Sanchez, etc...). The tracks Night and Day, Donde Esta Benji, and Como Fue are so beutifully interpreted that I considered them masterpieces of modern Latin music.
