This is an Original Soundtrack LP AML 3104 on the EMI America Label - Issued in the UK (- size 12 x 12 inches) to the 1986 Tri-Star film LABYRINTH starring David Bowie,Jennifer Connelly,Toby Froud, Shelley Thompson and Christopher Malcolm .Produced by Eric Rattray , Written by Terry Jones -Based on a story by Dennis Lee and Jim Henson - Directed by Jim Henson. Music by Trevor Jones. Songs by David Bowie.
Young Sarah is left home alone by her parents and she has to babysit her little brother Toby. But the baby keeps crying and Sarah, while telling him a story to make him sleep, inadvertently conjures from a fantasy world the Goblin King who steals the child and brings him to his castle in the middle of a labyrinth. Sarah has to rescue him before midnight, or the baby will became a goblin...
The LP is in excellent, mint condition- I have owned it from new in 1986 and it has never been played-no spindle marks- slight edge wear to sleeve- Would be very difficult tio find a copy of this record in better condition, as I imagine, due to Bowie's popularity, they were played considerably.
