     LACEWING   "LACEWING"   MAINSTREAM RECORDS  S/6132  1970    RARE

 

    Originally from Kent Ohio, this short lived five piece mutated from the Measles and produced this hard to find Mainstream album.  Featuring Bob Webb on guitar (who replaced Joe Walsh in the Measles), Mary Stepka on lead vocals and Dave Andress on keyboards, formerly from the Chancellors.. The album touches on many aspects including Folk Rock, Pop and Progressive. The lead off single, also the best song on the album is "Paradox". Other original songs include "Crystal Myth", "Our World (it can Happen)'', ''Time to Go", "Galvenized Midget" and the two part seven minute "The Storm". Very Scarce

 

RECORD: VG++  High Gloss, no spindle wear, a few lite scuffs otherwise Great

COVER: VG(-)   Good condition with tape residue in upper rt, and a small tear on front, noticable cover wear and seam fraying BUT...No ring wear, writings, stickers, stains, cut outs seam splits or other damage
