Description
This one's an undisputed classic! From 1977, this is the promo 12" of Lamont Dozier's "Going Back to My Roots" (Warner Bros. 665). This African-style number really let Dozier's vocals stand out, and the arrangement is just sublime. Two versions here: a 6:00 mix and a full 9:45 mix. Vinyl is in M- condition, and it's in the Warner Bros. disco sleeve. If you've wanted this 12", grab this one, because you won't see it in this fine a shape anytime again soon!
