You are bidding on LaMonte Young's classic of just intonation (and endurance performance!), his 5LP set on Gramavision from 1987, The Well-Tuned Piano, a live recording from 1981 and of course one of Young's very few legitimate releases.

This copy has probably been played 4 times; the vinyl is absolutely impeccable!!! I cannot stress enough what great shape these Direct Metal Mastered LPs are in, which is obviously important considering the extremely wide dynamic range of this performance.

Box cover shows wear around the edges; I'd grade it at a VG-.

The LP-sized 28-page program booklet is in VG++ condition. It has rare photos and notes by Terry Riley, Marian Zazeela, Young himself, and others.
