Two Sided Fantasy from Landslide, yet another obscure Capitol record, this one released in 1972. This grooves in a bluesy hard rock style with touches of latin percussion and slide guitar. It doesn’t take too much imagination to hear influences from Santana and the Allman Brothers, as well as Johnny Winter.
Early 70s groove rock from Landslide -- a group that only put one album out in the 70s -- and it's an overlooked one with some southern and bluesy rock hard grooving, percussion that brings in a bit of a Latin rock vibe, and some post psychedelic oddball flourishes include sitar and slide guitar, giving it a pretty unique feel and unpredictable vibe from one tune to the next.
