Description

This is a beautiful, excellent sounding Radio Station Copy of Larry Banks 1967 Kapp Records release of "Muddy Water" and I'm Not the One". 
Cat.# K-865.
In original, double-sided, color KAPP RECORDS sleeve.
The a-side, "Muddy Water" has a bright red "A" above the catalog number. The reverse side does not have such lettering. Both sides feature the unmistakable Kapp Records logo, the shako with plume, in black and white. All print, graphics, and colour on both sides of the wax are in near mint plus condition. 
There are no visible flaws to the vinyl. If I hadn't just played it once (both sides, on a brand new turntable), I would say that it's likely the record was never played. The sound quality is excellent with no audible flaws. 
The sleeve is in very good plus condition. All color, graphics, and print are bright, bold, and clear. There is minor creasing/cornering and I've tried to show that in the pictures. I'm tragic with a camera so if you need further details or have any comments or questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. But I'm not that crazy; the front and reverse sides of the sleeve are identical! 
Provenance: This - and all the 45s and most of the LPs that I'll be listing - are from my personal collection, given to me personally by Sam and Becky Phillips. My uncle was Sam Phillips, of Sun Records. His wife, my Aunt Becky, was one of the first female deejays on the first all-woman radio station, WHER, that Sam founded and which went on the air on October 29th, 1955. Of Becky's voice, Sam had this to say: "There's something about your voice, out of the night, out of the light, out of the sky, here comes your voice. On a little Atwater Kent radio or something." Becky continued her broadcasting career for three decades after WHER's inception.
