LARRY JOHNSON - PRESENTING THE COUNTRY BLUES - BLUE HORIZON (UK ISSUE)

Year: 1969 UK ISSUECondition: Cover is VG, Vinyl: Side 1 VG+, Side 2 EX+.
On offer here is is a copy of Larry Johnson 'Presenting the Country Blues' released in 1969 on the highly collectible Blue Horizon label. It is one of the toughest releases to find on the label and is available here is reasonable condition, this is not a mint record but would easily grade VG+ overall. Although the cover states the record to be Stereo it is in fact mono and is stated so on the label, there may have originally been a mono sticker on the front.
The vinyl is graded as follows: Side 1 has a couple of short light scratches on track one, which will cause a few pops/clicks, the rest of this side is excellent, Side two is Excellent+ and is very clean. The album has only been played a few times at most but the marks on track one mean grading it VG+.
The typically thin front laminated sleeve is VG or better, there are light creases, wear, scuffing and handling marks to the laminated front. The reverse has light creasing scuffing and general wear. The spine is clean and all text is legible. Though my comments are accurate this album still shows very well with most of the wear being to the surface of the lamination which it has to be said was not really glossy to start with and certainly not as glossy as some of the other release on the label from that period.
Labels are Excellent and very clean.
Plain poly-lined period inner sleeve.
