LARRY MARSHALL 'SNAKE IN THE GRASS' 1967 Dr BIRD SKA 45
For auction here is a very, very rare, Ska single from Larry Marshall on the Dr. Bird label. This is one of the two rarest and most sought after of his output and just never turns up. Despite the condition of the label, the record has been well-cared for and is in a strong Ex or better condition and plays perfectly.
This is just one of dozens of Ska titles I am going to be auctioning over the next several weeks, all of which come from the same ex-D.J.'s collection. This like many of them, has had the artist and catalogue number scratched out as per the practice of some paranoid 60s D.J.'s jealously guarding their prized playlists.
I have played both sides and can verify that this is what the record is despite the label's defacement. In addition, I have provided a photo of the matrix number on the record.
