Here's a very nice and hard to find 1967 UK first issue copy of this all time classic Chicago (Okeh) Soul tune from LARRY WILLIAMS & JOHNNY WATSON with "A QUITTER NEVER WINS" on the UK COLUMBIA (Soul Supply) imprint # DB 8140 and backed with "MERCY, MERCY, MERCY".
This copy plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in a strong excellent plus condition verging more towards mint minus with light surface sleeve rubs not affecting play and with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. This copy has the solid centre and the labels are very clean on both sides with just the odd blemish and storage rub and with light spindle wear making this very much a top copy for the DJ or to grace any collection. Paired with an original company sleeve (see picture scans).
