The Holy Grail of New Orleans Modern Soul & Disco Funk An extraordinary, legitimate 1979 original first pressing of one of the most sought-after two-siders on Senator Jones’ iconic New Orleans imprint, Hep' Me Records. Cut at the legendary Sea-Saint Recording Studios, this 45 pairs the irresistible, uptempo disco-funk dancefloor monster "Dancing With My Love Bones" with the sublime, deep mid-tempo modern soul masterwork "Give Me Your Love" on the flip.

Original copies of Hep’ Me 136 rarely surface in this tier of preservation—most spent decades working heavy club rotations. This copy is an undeniable archive-worthy specimen for the serious collector and DJ.

Visual & Play-Grade Assessment (Strict Goldmine Standards)

• Vinyl (VG+ / NM-): Stunning presentation. The vinyl retains its deep, jet-black factory mirror gloss. Free of nasty gouges, heavy scuffs, or feeler scratches. Under harsh grading light, you will only spot a couple of faint, superficial sleeve wisps that do not affect play. Lay-flat and clean.

• Labels: Vibrant, unfaded deep red with crisp black typography. The center spindle hole is tight and clean with no paper tearing, zero writing, no stickers, and no jukebox dinking or drill holes.

• Sleeve / Housing: As issued for this release, the record comes in a clean, standard paper protective sleeve showing only mild, honest vintage handling/creasing, designed to keep the vinyl safe and scuff-free.

Shipping & Returns Policy

Professional Packaging

• Secure Handling: Your record will be shipped in a dedicated, heavy-duty cardboard mailer (LP or 45 specific) with extra cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending or crushing.

• Pro-Tip Protection: To prevent seam splits during transit, all opened records are shipped with the vinyl removed from the jacket (housed in its inner sleeve) and placed behind the jacket within a 4mil clear poly outer sleeve.

• 45s: 7" records are shipped with the same level of care in dedicated 7-inch mailers.

Fast & Tracked Shipping

• Handling Time: I ship within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.

• Tracking: A tracking number will be provided immediately upon shipment.
