THE LAVENDER HOUR-45-“So Sophisticated” b/w “I’ve Gotta Way With Girls”-Steffek Records #S-1929-MEGA-MONSTER & HOLY GRAIL 1967 Houston TEXAS Garage-Punk. One of the most KILLER and MOST RARE 2-sided punkers of all-time. I have only seen one copy in the past and only saw this on Ebay one time in 2005. VERY RARE. Most of you all know this from assorted comps-TEXAS FLASHBACK in particular. No need to describe-both sides are DEADLY-KILLER-POWERHOUSE –all the elements-killer vocals, fuzz guitar crunch, powerhouse lead guitar breaks, songs are badazz-BOTH SIDES ARE DEADLY…
Condition: Record is MINT-Minus. B side has a small surface scuff-like surface mark-only able to see in certain light angles-looks like the letter ‘S’; NOT a scratch, just a light surface scuff mark. Other than this-this is a PERFECT COPY. BEAUTIFUL. PLAYS PERFECT-some slight background noise on the opening dead wax, and very slight on the concluding dead wax…
Label clean both sides; little white paper mark on A side (see photo).
