Wild and rough, pure senegalese style (Ibrahima Kassé production = Star Band de dakar) ! Between afro-funk & afro-jazz with latin or even afro-american rythm'n blues influences, there is nothing to throw away. Every track is a jewel, with lots of rythms, drums, breaks (only one deep afro-soul tune (B2). The first song on B side is incredible ! Groovy, wild and funky, a perfect tune to the dancefloor, heavy soul vocal with afro-latin rythm, many breaks, with a great organ and a psyché feeling...The third one is a wonderful afro-latin tune, almost entierly instrumental, between soul, latin-jazz and boogaloo. This record is a must ! Moreover in this beautiful condition!!
Condition: (record/cover/label, gradings: VG/VG+/VG++/EX/NM)
both first tracks on each side has a part where some slight, small surface marks are visible, rest looks clean and glossy with no scuffs visible, first track on side two plays with some slight clicks at the beginning rest plays EX to NM IIII front laminated cover EX+, looks beautiful, very crispy and sharp edges and corners, very slight shelf wear on the backside only, collectors condition! IIII labels are clean
